Lantern is built around one idea: your documents and conversations stay on your Mac. The app processes everything locally, and Mindpool, Inc. collects no telemetry, analytics, usage data, or personal information through it. There are no user accounts.

Once you accept the Terms, the app checks Mindpool’s update service at launch for a newer version — a request that carries no documents, conversations, or personal information. Model downloads happen only when you enable network features. In both cases the app downloads files; it never transmits your content anywhere.

This website sets no cookies and runs no trackers.
